About ILAC
ILAC is a community-contributed directory that helps people discover products that may be gluten-free and research their information, starting in Jordan.
Why ILAC was created
Finding products that may suit a gluten-free diet can take time and effort, from reading labels and comparing packages across countries to asking others about their experiences. ILAC brings this information together in one place, in Arabic and English.
What ILAC does — and does not do
- ILAC is a product information directory built with community contributions.
- ILAC is not a certification body, laboratory or medical service.
- ILAC does not guarantee that any product is safe for every person with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
- Each product page identifies its information sources and the date those sources were last reviewed, when available.
Community contributions are welcome
A product listing may begin with a package photo shared by someone who bought it. ILAC publishes the information after moderation, even when no official manufacturer statement has been recorded, and clearly identifies the information status and sources so you can assess them yourself.
