Information statuses
- Information not reviewed yet: No moderator has reviewed sources for this product yet.
- Community information: Based on what users shared. A moderator checked the information for completeness and abusive content, but did not verify the product’s medical safety.
- Available sources reviewed: A moderator reviewed the recorded sources, such as a label photo or manufacturer statement, on the date shown. This review is not a certification.
- Needs a new review: The information may be outdated, for example because the packaging or ingredients have changed.
- Conflicting information: Information has been reported that differs from the published product details.
What sources can be reviewed?
- Clear photos of the current package or its ingredients and allergen label.
- The manufacturer’s official website or an official statement issued by the manufacturer.
- A direct response from the manufacturer, with the date and method of receipt recorded, if actually received.
- A certification record identifying the issuer, covered products and relevant dates. A logo alone is not sufficient evidence of certification.
- Product pages on retailer websites, which are secondary sources and may contain outdated information.
- Information shared by the community or personal experiences.
No official manufacturer confirmation is on record
This means ILAC has no official manufacturer confirmation on record. It does not necessarily mean the manufacturer was contacted, or that it denied the product is gluten-free.
What is the difference between update and review dates?
“Last updated” changes when product information is edited. “Sources last reviewed” is the last time a moderator reviewed a recorded source. The dates are shown separately because they mean different things.
Product experience ratings
Community ratings describe the product experience in terms of taste, texture and value. They do not rate its safety or confirm that it is gluten-free.
